The island of Favignana is the largest of the archipelago of the Egadi Islands, located off the west coast of Sicily, and is only 7 km from the port of Trapani.

The island is known for its famous tonnara, its natural harbor and its village made entirely of white houses with green or blue windows, typical of Mediterranean architecture. From the unmissable beach of Cala Azzurra you can enjoy breathtaking sunsets.

Favignana has established itself over the years as an important tourist destination, perfect for those who want to relax and enjoy the sea and for those who prefer to spend time in nature, in the uncontaminated Macchia Mediterranea, the predominant vegetation of the island.

The island is connected to the other Egadi islands (Levanzo and Marettimo) and to the ports of Trapani and Marsala. The shipping companies that offer departures to Favignana are Siremar and Liberty Lines.

Connections to Favignana are guaranteed throughout the year, but are intensified in high season, so that many tourists can reach the island comfortably. The duration of the crossing is quite short, but varies depending on the route chosen and the company that makes the departure.

The only available accommodation on board the hydrofoils or ferries to Favignana is the deck passage, which allows passengers to sit on the free seats, on the sofas or on the outside deck, if available.

Hydrofoils to Favignana are equipped with an air-conditioned lounge and in some cases with a small snack bar. On board the ferries there is an armchair lounge, a bar, a playroom for children and access to the outside decks.
